BIENNALE ARTE '26
The Venice Biennale, one of the world's most prestigious cultural institutions and founded in '95 to celebrate contemporary art, mourns the passing of its curator Koyo Kouoh. A key figure in international art, with a focus on contemporary African scenes, Kouoh left us last year to an incurable illness.
Now her team inherits the task of bringing her visionary project to life for this edition: "In Minor Keys". An invitation to tune into less flashy but more intimate frequencies – those "minor keys" that resonate in the body and emotions, beyond the intellect. Like a whispered jazz concert, it's a moment of deep listening and reflection.

LA NOTA MANCANTE by Dorothy Circus Gallery
Marina Abramović, moon of contemporary artists, presents Balkan Erotic Epic. The Exhibition, her first major solo show in Berlin since the roaring '90s. Here, amid historical works and new creations, the performance artist tears the veil on ancestral rituals, wild eros, tempting death, and the body as a battlefield for political resistance.
Women beat breasts and massage their breasts in wild laments, naked bodies entwined with skeletons: from Abramović's Balkan folklore emerge filmic installations, sculptures, and live performances exaggerated with humor. The Balkans are reborn as erotic land to confront death, fertilize life, and balance nature. Eros dissolves boundaries between life/death, I/us.
Till August 23, 2026 , Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin - GERMANY
MARINA ABRAMOVIĆ: BALKAN EROTIC EPIC

Conceived as a meditation on elusive memory, it explores fragments and absences that resonate like a “missing note.”
The exhibition unfolds as a multisensory journey, where visual art dialogues with scent, sound, and tactile experience.
Developed with sensory researchers and perfumers, fragrance becomes an invisible medium to activate and share memory.
